WANNI IN BEIJING - Meeting a Colonial Cousin after 200 Years

The last day of the conference. Went to the Temple of Heaven in the evening. This was the only day I missed rice. Met a school principal from Holland. I told him that we are "Colonial Cousins" as our country was once captured and ruled by Holland during 1798-1815. Then he felt guilty and apologized for it.

I told him that history is history and we cannot change it now. I appreciate his humility.

Went on shopping with Radha, school principal and some more friends. I finished the tour within a short time since I am not interested in shopping in super market. I love shopping only in computer shops and bookshops. Had to wait for hours till the others came.

Closing ceremony was at Restaurant Roast Duck. Singing, dancing and saying goodbye to each other. Had a wonderful time here.
