Participated in an interactive session which was presided over by Mr. Copen. A young American boy told that he did not agree to some parts of Dr. Tien's speech. The young boy told that "Humanity is worth than millions and billions of dollars." I attended a presentation conducted by the Royal College, Colombo. They did the presentation very well. It was on "Cultural Diversity of Sri Lanka." Everybody admired it. Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim students described about the special occasions in each other's cultures. Met two lady teachers (Ms. Yvonne Moyer and Margaret Mahoney) from Miami, the USA. They had seen some of the paintings I took here from a Sri Lankan public school. Paintings depict the culture of Sri Lanka. The American teachers are in love with the paintings. |
